Description
The Sieg X2 conversion kit is a true “bolt-on” kit, just like its counterpart Sieg X2D. You needn’t drill any additional holes or enlarge existing holes for Sieg X2 CNC conversion. All bearings have grease fittings.
Our Sieg X2 benchtop mill is a milling machine of choice among beginner machinists, given its ease of operation and running. And with a Sieg X2 conversion kit, computer numeric control can be easily enabled on this machine.
The Z axis mounts to the center of the head, placing the center of gravity where it belongs, in the center. This greatly reduces drag on the Z-axis stepper motor and eliminates stalling.
To bring down backlash, our Sieg X2 CNC conversion plans include radial and axial bearings. When equipped on all three axes, these bearings will ensure zero backlash, even during heavy milling and long-haul operations.
The coupling design of the precision stepper motor ensures zero damage to the motor while milling workpieces.
The Sieg X2 CNC conversion kit is our most popular product, thanks to its DIY-friendly features, which include simple-to-follow user instructions. Also, if you’re looking for a cost-efficient yet featureful CNC solution, this mill CNC conversion kit has it all.
The kit includes:
(3) NEMA 23 stepper motor adaptors
(3) 16mm ball screw and nut assemblies
All new bearings
Grease fittings on all bearings
All required mounting hardware
